My 1980 Vette blinkers and stop lights are not working, but my flashers are working. I checked all of the fuses and they are intact. What else should I be checking?

lets look at the wiring diagram...

0900C1528008371b

the hazard flashers and stop lights are on the stop    light hazard fuse....

the turn signals are on a separate fuse... labeled turn and back up lights...

i would PROBE both ends of each fuse....    see if you only get power on ONE end... if you do.. that is the bad fuse...

i would also want you to figure out which fuses are which in the fuse block...  i might be able to find out but it will take some digging.. as 80 was a change over year do to changes in the fuel control systems...

you can also probe the brake light wiring ..  if your car has cruise control.. there will be 4 wires on the brake light switch...

you can also find the hazard flasher..  by turning on the turn signals.. and unplugging the other..   you should have power on one of the terminals ..

the wiring diagram is larger than you can see...   so you might want to print it...

try the connector above the brake pedal under the dash that sometimes disconnects if your foot/feet hit it by accident.
