I love my Chevy Chevette!

I have a 69 Camaro I just fitted with a new Ford 9" rear end, I had to fabricate a shock mount crossmember and relocate the stock staggered shock configuration by moving the shocks behind the rear end housing. It is fitted with stock Chevy spring perches and the centering pins are in place. I also have relocated the shock mounts on the lower spring mounting plates. I am using C0mpetition Engineering Slide a Link traction bars. The problem I am having is under load either forward or reverse, the rear end housing is moving back and forth front to back. I noticed this by the position of the rear wheel in the fender well, and with 28"x10.50" slicks it concerns me that I could have a tire cut down by coming in contact with the wheel well. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and what can I do to stop it without causing the suspension to bind? Thanks
