K0502

K is GM of canada

05 is MAY

02 is the second day of the month..

and could the last digits actually be

FZ  instead of ***

6-250
Chev Pass. 66-67

how about some casting numbers off the block..  and or casting numbers off the head..  there is also a julian date.. looks like this (\)b147(\)  the pattern on both sides are usually screw heads cast into the part..  B is feburary.. 14th and 7 would be the year.. 67, 77, 87, 97..

4" bore medium  journal 327 or 350 block..  68 thru 79
large journal are actually 400 blocks as they have bigger main journals.. early small blocks have small journals.. 350s are actually a medium journal.

how about pictures of the stamping number off the front of the block.. and the julian date..

could it be the 136th day of 1968????? or the 136th day of 1978..

depends on what the actual stamping number suffix turns out to be..

so it could be a late 70s 350 chevy...   probably with 441 or 624 heads
