I am building a 1970 cst/10 fleetside short wheel base with factory a/c.
We took the stock motor which is a 255hp, 350cid and changed it to a 383cid
with an eagle forged crank and a comp cam 270H. The specs on the cam are .470/.470 lift with 1.5 rockers .224/.224 duration @ .050 lift and a operating range of 1800-5800. We used the stock 76cc heads and cleaned up the ports a little bit. The compression ratio is 9.26/1. We used the stock manifolds (2 inch outlets) because of the stock a/c brackets that were used in this build. The carb is a stage II quadrajet from Jet performance 750 cfm on top of the stock intake. The build will try to keep the look bone stock.

I know, I stroked it, then I choked it, but i hope it will give me a little more pep overall.

Can anyone tell me some realistic Hp and Torque numbers.

I think I'm going to need a stall converter. Idle is hard to achieve with it in drive and the a/c is on. The truck has a 3.07 rearend gear and turbo 350 trans with a small shift kit.

Any info is greatly appreciated!!!!

Go to a 3:70 or 3:90 rear gear. That should handle those little problems.
With the cam you have try a 2200 to2500 stall convertor.
