That combo sounds pretty good should have around 450 h.p. but I would use a lunati .490 lift streetmaster cam kit witch will match the power band of the intake better and a 750 cfm carb. like the holley #hly-0-3310s.

Well I think it is a pretty good plan accept you have to add a new timing chain and a timing box that makes sure that the timing is on time so you don't detonate. It's going to be hard to run 10.4:1 compression with iron heads.... think about switching to aluminum (dissipates heat faster) and I think that you can run a Edelbrock 650 cfm carb.  When it comes to horsepower I am guessing about 350-400. Since you are on a budget I wouldn't suggest do anything else besides what you are doing now.

CC did a test iron vs. aluminum and there was no difference in detonation and they had 10.88:1 C.R. and used same head except one was iron and one was aluminum.

u might not have enough duration with that cam to get the full potential of the heads remember you can build any combo you want but the power is in the heads also you can run as high as 11 to 1 on pump (91 or higher ) gas its all timing that matters like love those chevys said. i think you could almost see 450 to 500 hp but dont hold against it

You can always go a heat range or two colder on the plugs if you have trouble with detonation with the iron heads.

You should have a good solid mill with the combo you're planning, though I'd look at a bigger carb, 650 cfm. A good Edelbrock QJet in that size will serve you well.

That should work pretty good for you,I just finished my first stroker it was a 383 to here is a list of what i used
:AFR alum,225 race readys/72cc 2.02/1.60
LaughougHerbert solid roller c6f[b].625-.625 106 center
:Wiseco pistons
:6"Steel h-beam rods
:[scat]steel 3.75 crankshaft
:Performer rpm intake
:edelbrock 750 cfm
I strongley recomend 6"rods if you can swing the extra money because they allow for less stress on your bottomend and piston skirts, rings.
My comp,ratio is 10.5:1 with a th350 with hardened shafts its in a 73 nova,with 456 gears.
On a desktop dyno this combo made 580 hp,I dont know how acurate that is but this year at the drag strip without any traction devices the car went 11.50 @118mph with a 60'time of 1.865,it did this five times in a row,ITS ALLOT OF FUN ON THE STREET.
