Hello,

I just purchased the identical set of TPMS sensors which you guys used on your 2012 Camaro (Dorman). I have been able to program them but they don't stay programmed. After a day or week or even a couple of hours they stop communicating.....

Thoughts?

Nice shot.

Thanks for the info. I've looked on the Dorman site quite a bit but there isn't anything related to my issue. However, I did email them and they are going to send me a different set of sensors. Turns out that for some models the frequency varies between 314.9 and 315. Scott, eluded to this in his article but didn't really get into specifics. It sounded like he addressed it on the ECU side instead of the sensor side so I was curious as to how.

Thanks.

We had a tire shop recalibrate it for us. We've had no issues so far, but the car only gets driven to/from the track for the most part. I have had a similar issue with my C6, with another brand of aftermarket sensors. I don't recall if it was every time the battery was unhooked, or just when the ECM was reflashed, but it would forget the signal. Basically we just had to recalibrate the sensors again.
