Rebuilding the Steering Gear-Steer Clear
The article was just enough to get someone in trouble lol. When there is that much info, it tempts people to try this in their garage, but they'll be poorly surprised if they dont have a couple j tools or something in the j tool's place, especially for the teflon ring resizer (the clear thing he pushes the pinion through when installing it). Without that, hang it up, you'll win the powerball lottery before you get all four seals in the gear without rolling one. Also, the pic of him at the arbor press is him putting in the lower pinion seal. The pinion bearing goes in on the other side from the bottom.
