first question.. as there are actually 2 different HVAC systems..

is it a manual control system

or a fully automatic control system???

its more than likely the fully automatic system but a few were built with the manual climate control system.

does the system just blow hot cold hot cold.. thru the vents you have selected.. or does they shift also..

see if you can command

DEFROST where it blows at the windshield..

DASHboard outlets where it blows out the face of the dash..

and
FLOOR.. where it blows out the floor vents only..

why.. there are multiple components in the system... and the 2 systems operate differently..

post that info... might take you a few minutes to test...

i will be around..

on the RPO label..

C60 is a manual temp control system with slide on the upper right side..

C68 is the fully automatic control system with all buttons including warmer and cooler ..

air conditioner changes from hot to cold every 30 seconds;
this could be a Vacuum issue.. or an electrical issue.

control modular on & off does not work all the time;

this could be a vacuum issue or an electrical issue..

fan does not go on all the time

this is more than likely.. an electrical issue..

trouble shooting from here requires checking the vacuum hoses..  all the way to the vacuum reservoir ball in front of the left front tire.. checking the vacuum hoses at the cruise control..

checking the vacuum hoses behind the intake where the check valve is for the ac and cruise control system..

this testing needs to include the vacuum valve on the brake pedal.. the hoses to those rarely go bad..

please also closely check the entry point on the firewall where the vacuum hose goes thru..

the rigid nylon vacuum hose is available at most parts stores..

it can have tiny cracks that will leak vacuum at random times..
