I am looking at a 67 convertable and want to know what to look for to determine that car is a true Big Block. Gauges show correct for Big Block, wondering about other things to look for.

since i do drivability issues..  you might want to get the vin number and see if GM corvette division can produce the proper build sheet for the car.. i have heard that some years are available...

there is some info offsite here..

but not on your motor.. all the motors , transmissions and rear ends had a partial vin ... so you can see if the motor.. and after all these years it probably has been changed out..

there are so many knock off cars that have been modified to raise the value..

since you are going to drop the price of a house in some parts of the country.. please spend the time and verify... so you don't end up with termites and a house that was built without permits.. (stolen car)_or Clone...

want a laugh. remember the ATT telephone ads with ET..?? saying PHONE HOME...   et did not come here to phone home.. he came all this way for a "CLONED PHONE"...
