I have a Summit Aluminum Radiator in my Chevelle. I want to black it out - is it okay to paint it with Dupli-Color Engine Enamel that you can get from Autozone?

I am by no means an expert in that area but it seems like you would lose some heat transfer by doing that. Factories do paint their radiators so I would imagine it does not make that much difference. I would think a very thin coat of paint would be appropriate.

My thoughts exactly, but you will probably loose a little heat transfer with the paint on there but who cares? Just drive a little faster to make up for the loss.
