Anyone know the top H-P these heads can handle. I seem to have topped out at 700 hp. The motor is a 383 bored .030 over It is all forged lower with a vortec v-2 blower putting out 11 lbs boost. At 8 lbs it had 535 rwhp , at 11 lbs and the install of a meth inj. kit it only picked up 15 hp.

Sounds like You Found out Already. 700HP is a LOT more than I would Guess,What else did you do to get the Other 150 hp. I see the Minor pick up of 15 HP as a problem getting the exaust Out or Poss. Air In, thus Boost but no Power. And How did you get 700hp. Maybe a bigger Blower?

700hp is engine h-p.  550 is rwhp. I`m loosing a lot at the rear wheels because of 1 th400 trans and a big ol heavy dana 60 rear. The engine hp is estimated, the rwhp is dynod.  The boost came fro pully change, both crank and blower.  I just talked to a tech at gm performance and he agreed on the heads being a problem at 700 hp.

IF you are getting 535 as the rear wheels you may be making even more at the flywheel, especially if you have a high stall converter. You are probably at the limit for those heads. 30 percent loss thru the drive train is not unusual.
My 68 Camaro with a 632 in it made 606 at the rear on motor and 866 with some nitrous. It was blowing thru the converter big time on the juice, I estimated well over a 30% loss on that one. It had a high stall converter and a Dana 60 in it.
