Hi everyone, I'm in the process of pro streeting my 84 C10 shortbed. I have Mickey Thompson 33 x 21.50 x 15 for the rear, what size do you all think I should put on the front? I'm not going to race it, so I don't want the skinny front runners. I just bought 15 x 6" Weld draglites wheels for the front to match the rear wheels. I was thinking of going with 215-70-15. They are approx. 26.9" high. I want to keep a rake to the stance of the truck, not lowered down all around. What do ya think?....Paul

IMO 235/60/15 but I am skewed towards cornering too.

That's what I had on there before. They were mounted on 8" wide Centerlines, and looked good, but now the new Weld Draglites' are only 6" wide. Plus the wheel opening on an 84 C10 is wide as you see it from the side, so I want to fill up that area as much as possiable. I was just wondering if anyone has seen or done tires' on the front of a 80s' C10 before I start buying and putting them on and then changing them again to get the right look, know what I mean?  Smirk Thanks' in advance, have a good day everyone.!!

sounds like your going for a cool look! Cool      IIRC, roughly every 25mm's or so of tire width is 1 inch?   so the 215's would be about 8 1/2"-9" wide?
IDK, with 21.50's out back, some skinnies/front runners/pizza cutters, would complete the pro street look.   JMO.   Smile

Thanks. The more I think about it, I agree with you. The front runners' would complete the look of pro street. And maybe mounted on the 6" wide wheels, they may not get lost in that big wheel opening of an 84 C10. That's such a big and wide front end, I was afraid of the tires' and wheels' looking to small in there. I'm going to do it, thanks again. I'll shoot some pics' out later when it's done...Paul.
