Dual Plane or Single Plane?

Okay, I already have the dual plane air gap. But, have seen some good words from some friends about Wieand's Single Plane X Celerator with a plenum divider in it. The Nova is going to be mainly street,  might take it to the track every now and again.
Any opinions?
Engine is Dart SHP 400, scat assembly with probe dished pistons(12.5), roller cam is 224 duration, 563 lift, 110 lsa, 106 Intake center. RHS 200cc heads w/64 cc chambers. TH350 built, rear gear 3.73, car wt with me about 3600. Oh yeah the tire is 27 inches tall.

"mainly street",...i'd go with an RPM air gap,...gasket match the intake and heads.     might be able to shift the powerband a little with a carb spacer,...4-hole,...or open?

   12.5:1 with dished pistons?

    aluminum or cast iron heads?

    again, i read,..."mainly street".

the rest sounds spot on!   should be bad-azz! Cool

12.5(CR is 10.63SCR and 8.24DCR) is the dish in the pistons, heads are RHS 200 pro action aluminum. I have had problems with the air gap on the motor that's in the nova. It has a lot of trouble staying warm enough, I am thinking because of the open area below the plenum. Both manifold have the same RPM range, 1500-6500.

I think I'd go with a dual-plane also unless you plan on running at or above 3000rpm all the time.

The single plane is more for race applications. It will get you more HP in the upper rpm ranges but the dual plane is better for the street and performs better in the lower RPM ranges.

I leave a wide path wherever I go, easy to follow. I'm with Joe, deep fried and crispy, take up less space in the after world than in the here & now.

Take care Noel. Be strong and give'em hell.

Hi there,
Thanks a lot guys but my problems are ZERO compared my
friend in Maui who is another guy with a SBC chevy powered Jaguar

1991 2 door convertible XJSV12.
He had a relapse without a heart attack due to loss of blood created
by accute leukemia. He is now in a Honolulu hospital fighting the Main event.
He is Minister in his own Church and he is in touch with the Heavies.
You guys should behave yourselves while you can even if you are innocent.
