How about a carb spacer with a vacuum fitting in it? Or you could drill and thread the intake.

spacer under carb I think would make it to high.  I can put a fitting on the intake just not sure where

I have also been researching vacuum pumps but I believe you still need intake vacuum.  I also need to find vacuum for the trans if I ever want to get it out of first.

hmm...

depending on which of the several versions of the 750 Dp

could be as easy as swapping on a different base plate..

$T2ec16r,!Zee9s3!(Yzobquleeiw,G~~60 12

i looked around. and saw both stock replacements and billet replacements that are drilled for vacuum ports..

but i don't know exactly which version you have...

Hi Wayne,
That would be the most universal fitting without a doubt,
I would use a gasket between all faces...All the best..

Hey Irish,If you were to go the easy way/no carb spacer, where it is mounted ...Front back or side ...dosn't matter, but in the plenum not a runner, though I would mount about an inch below the carb for clearence, If you choose to tap holes in the Manifold  you will want to get two nipples with threads on one end get a 3/8 to run brake booster and as small as an 1/16 for the tranny as the tranny line is tiny/restricted.the plungers(they direct fluid flow) in a trans are a near perfect fit and you can move them back and forth by blowing on them so very little vacuum is needed.

ok, all good info I found a big port in back of carb and small in front.  I have breathers on both valve covers so I am thinking big port for booster small for trans. let me know if this will work or next step drill holes in the manifold.  thanks for all the help. can't wait till summer

The small one in the front should be for your vacuum advance distributor. If No vacuum advance distributor plug it.
