My Grandprix just ran a 14.09 at a 106.4mph. It has a 383(chev) with Edelbrock heads, stage three Summit intake, and a single pattern can with 509lift, 108 lsa and 246 degrees of duration at fifty thou lift.  It has a th350 with a 3000 stall converter and 4.11 gears.  And just so you guys know twenty year old snow tires have terrible traction

Vega4.
What is there a confrontation between 2 cams, and other information. Try to break it down a little better. It actually should have run better.

Give us a little more information, a little less confusing. Confused

It really doesn't help anyone when you make multiple posts on several forums.
Thanks.

Yes I agree you are at least a second slow for your MPH.
Tires should be your first move to much quicker ETs. I would venture a guess that you are between 325 and 350 hp judging by your speed and estimating your weight at 3200-3300 lbs.

I planning on getting some.  But the drag strip's closed for the winter, so I'm not in a big rush.  The weight was closer to 3800 or 3900 with two fat guys, so I was pretty happy

If the weight was that high I would push my guess up to 420-450hp.
Get those tires and reduce the weight and you will be seeing some low 12 second times.

I think my tow truck had a better 60' and yes I did run my tow truck down the track once. If I remember right it ran 11.9 in the 1/8th. It was quicker than a lot of rice cars which ran in the 12 and 13 second range. This was with a 350 motor in a Chevy 3500, 3 ton dually. The 2500 with the LS motor was quicker but I never took it to the track.
Getting some decent traction will dramatically reduce your times but it will not change your mph much.
