monte carlo ss wheel hop?

hey guys i have a 84 ss monte carlo when i get into it and it starts spinning it will hops bad i wanna fix these before it messing the rear end or something up that should be the shocks right??

Shocks can help. If your rearend control arm bushings are bad, that can cause it too. Replacing the rear control arms with aftermarket units is the high-performance solution. The stock arms are stamped and pretty flimsy on those cars. If ride height has been altered, pinion angle and shock length could need correction, too.

There are aftermarket control arms available to help with this problem. The aftermarket ones are adjustable too.
As IDJ said the stock arms are weak and the bushing are probably worn both of which will cause wheel hop.

i think ill just replace both i wouldnt think they would be that exspensive??
