I have decided my life isn't complicated enough as it is so I am aiming for getting and restoring an el camino. First problem would be finding one. I am not rolling in money I have no illusions on the whole thing this is a long time project. However I haven't even been able to get to the line for the starting gate on account of not being able to find one close enough but then I don't have clue one where to looked. I have checked classifieds on papers and mags but internet and me are just casual friends and I have no idea how to search properly. Can I get a hint as to where I should start?
Thank you

craigslist , ebay, and autotrader are good places to start. I sold a primered '76 for $1,600 earlier this year. Saw a '71 by the road this week, it was only there one day. Mostly what you'll find will be 78-87, hope you like those and find what you need, elcos are the coolest.
