I have a 350 small block, 4 bolt main with 2 piece rear main seal. I have some 305 vortec heads on it, what is the torque specs/torqueing procedure  for the rocker arms? should there be about the same amount of thread showing on each rocker stud after theyre torqued? thanks

Read this!!

You don't torque rocker arms, you set the valve lash(solid lifters) or lifter preload(hydraulic lifters).

Read the thread "roller rocker sounds" for lashing valves properly.
