I'll be upgrading my front and rear brakes with Wilwood brake kits this spring. My 79 Nova currently has power brakes, discs in front and drums in rear. I'm going to install drilled/slotted rotors with new calipers on all four corners.
Do I need to replace the proportioning valve as well or will my current setup send the correct proportionate pressure between the front and rear?
Thanks in advance, Mike

You need to replace you master cylinder and eliminate the proportioning valve since it is disc to disc and not disc to drum. Also check to see if you have a Residual Pressure Valve, you should not need that either. Check with Wilwood for better details.
