I just bought a 90 formula and im planning on sanding the car and priming it black. Im using a small compressor to paint it, will that work? I have two that I will be switching off with.

You may have to go one panel at a time. It takes about a 5 HP with a 60 gallon tank, to keep up with a spray gun and keep a wet edge going around the whole car.

you need at least 10 cfm and 12 cfm is better.  look on the compressor and it will have a tag that tells the ???cfm@???psi

My 60 gallon is 13.5 cfm @ 40 psi and 10.5 @ 90 Psi

depends on what kind of gun you have. SOme hvlp guns do noy use low pressure, the first car i ever painted was with a nail gun compressor that you can pack around, it took forever but it worked.

Spray guns range from $15 to $1,000. The expensive ones are best.
