hi

i'm lost, you need to check the open and closed spring pressure on the eddy heads. you need to ask the cam mfg what open and closed pressures you need for the cam you are running.

you need big compression for big hp but if you go over 10:1 you will need to try E85 gas or mix 93 with vp 112 etc.

a 112 lobe center is not tight.

how do you want it to run exactly?

what rpm range do you want it to run in 1500 - 5200, 2000 - 5800, 5500 - 9,000.

well the springs are getting changed to work with the roller cam. looking to be in the 230 240 duration on 110 maybe tighter and close to .600 lift. it should be about 10.25:1 comp. would like to be able to get close to 7000 max rpm. but with roller lifters you need allot of spring pressure. dose any one know any thing about howards cams? i found one with the numbers i like but haven't really herd of them. would like the car to be fun on the street but doesn't need to have the best manners. any one have some suggestions on cams would be awesome

when i find a cam i want i was going to get the whole valve train to work with it. looking to be around 230 240 duration and around .600 lift on 110 centers or tighter. would like to to be fun on the street but still be a hot rod. most roller cams top out at 6500 because they weigh to much. if you have some ideas on a cam and intake that would be awesome.
