Thank You for that reply. It really helped they failed my truck at the inspection station because my steering wheel was to small but they could not tell me what the correct size was. I also incorrectly posted that it was a chevy. It is a GMC. I know they are the same except for the emblem.

I only have chevrolet horn buttons, are you talking about the plastic spacer behind the wheel or the cup with the 3 screws and the flat spring that are behind the button?

There are several parts  associated with the horn mechanism.   What part of the country do you live? I am in north Ga.
I would sell one for $25 + shipping.

The emission's on the cars with OBT-2 are testing themselves constantly. So there aren't emission failures like there was 15 years ago. That was a very big money maker. They have to justify their means! I'm not kidding.

A GMC, Pontiac, Cadillac, Honda dealership, built a seperate builing to do the new IM-240. (This building is state of the art). There is 3 wheel dyno bays and 4 repair bays.It was cancelled in the state of Massachuessetes. So many people are Mad the Techs had to get special License to do the tests, and do any emission repairs, and all for naught! I'd be mad also.

We have a 1986 Monte Carlo that is exempt. It's all original, we take it to the Chevy dealer, and each year they keep trying to buy it....
