I have a 62 Bel-Air and it won't start. I have it running on a 327 small block v8 Edelbrock. It has a Hei ignition and it is not giving enough spark or too  much. I am not very mechanical but want to have this fixed so I can enjoy my ride before winter comes. I have replaced the distributer module and it worked the first time, the second time it would not start I tried it again and it did not work. The engine is not getting the spark it needs to Ignite the fuel in order to get it going.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Sounds like maybe the power supply to the module is fluctuating. Are you running a ballast resistor?
