Please Google my SBC 313ci nitrous on gbody forum and give me a little insight on your thoughts. I have posted pictures and very soon will have videos posted when our weather here in Ohio breaks. I will be taking it to RDP Motorsports in Perry Ohio for some dyno tuning. I am starting with 100 jets and then moving to 150 maybe 175 jets. I am running a Nitrous Express Mainline kit with WOT switch. You will find all the info on other forums, please give me some feed back.
I have to ask? Why in the world a 307. There are better ways to make 313 inches...The 307 has such a small bore you can't get any heads to really work, unless you use the old Power/Pack heads from a 265 or 283 small valve heads.Bob
Its a rev monster, everyone said not to, Its the red headed stepchild, When Have you ever seen one built? These are only a couple reasons. I just got a new roller cam and carb. Look at the bore of the LS1 engine it is smaller than the .040 over 307 (LS1= 3.898), 307= 3.9155 (.0175 difference). The LS1 has 2.00/1.55 valves. I had test fit a set of 2.02/1.6 heads and there was lots of room left between the valves and the cylinder wall. I had my heads flowed yesterday, believe me they flow a ton. A lot more than vortec heads. 184cc intake port and 69cc exhaust port. I will be running in our bracket mod class 11.99 or faster. I just think its really cool and so many people have seamed very interested.
If you really wanted us to look at your project you'd post a link instead of making us Google something or search another forum.
