Hello everyone new to this , but hopeing to find someone with some knowledge on a set of cylinder heads that I have purchase. All the articles that I have read on here everyone seems to be very helpfull, so here is my question.
I have a set of cylinder heads #3998993 that came on a motor that I purchased engine suffix code CMF Block casting #3970010.Was woundering how to tell if this set of heads had been shaved , just by looking at the thickness of the material below the intake ports on the intake side of the head seems to be really thin compared to what I am use to seeing ,are these the original heads for this motor and if these heads have been shaved do I have to have the intake shaved also , because the motor did not come with manifold.
appriciate any information anyone can give Thanks and have a nice day.

Your going to have to CC the heads. The 993 are 76CC heads. That would be the easiest way to find out.
