find a V8 car of the same year.. damaged in the rear or sides... move all the engine , transmission, exhaust, engine control wiring. computers over..
be sure that you have the proper key to the donor ignition.. as those have a PATS system.. or you will have to leave the KEY on with a charger hooked up for 10 minutes to get it to start once..
there are ways of reprogramming the ignition keys to the V8 computer at that point..
unless you want to revert to a NON fuel injected motor.. with a carb and an ignition box... and a 5 or 6 speed manual transmission.. there are intakes and ignition boxes for LS motors..
if your car is a 5 or 6 speed already.. you could almost do that and make it reversible.. if you are really careful ... so you can drop the V6 back in..

So I have a supercharged 3.8 out of a 00 grand prix. Will it fit in my 99 camaro. I've measured it and the only problem I see is the throttle body hitting the fire wall. So real question is does neone make a tube to move the throttle body???

Probably a couple seconds in the quarter mile time.
