if its anything like my 64 Impala i think you need to remove the glove Box first and the hoses , and in the engine compartment there are a few nuts you will have to get loose also then the cover should pop out under the glove Box , Thats if its anything like a 64 Impala 's heater core .

fold yer self up like gumby and crawl under the dash...make sure someone is there to hand tools to ya cause all that foldin' is gonna get old quick...unless you're about 5' 6" on a good day
the reward will be the feeling of accomplishment and there is no greater feeling than when you can say it's over and i did it myself
64 is right, there are several things under the dash and parts of the heater system that will need to come out, may or may not need to take stuff (other than heater hoses) loose under the hood...another reward is the intimate knowledge of how this stuff works...and usually comes from getting in and getting dirty
good luck...remember bob the builder...can we fix it?...yes YOU can
- i did love my chevette (first car) more than my first wife my 94 4.3L Astrobrick would outrun the 99 5.4L f350 i had to drive for work
