What is the best performing intake for street/strip.Not daily driver just trying to improve performance.It is a 71 350 with flat top pistons.comp 274 xtreme cam,headers,vortec heads.3.73 gears,4-speed.    I would appreciate suggestions thanks phil

if you're looking for all out power and bottom end isn't really a concern, i'd suggest a single plane like a victor jr.

i did love my chevette (first car) more than my first wife
my 94 4.3L Astrobrick would outrun the 99 5.4L f350 i had to drive for work

It is in a 56 chevy car has pp cyclone intake.I am trying to increase performance.I was thinking maybe a better manifold might increase performance

I would never use a china made part on my engines herd that crap is no good. Just like every thing else made in china.

its not my car so i dont know for sure but my budddy has one on a 383 and it runs very strong. im not sayin its an edelbrock or anything but i wouldnt say that switching is going to get any huge power gains.low end torque maybe because your going from single to double.

Not every thing foreign just every thing from china.
I have seen test on the hurricane intake on a Pontiac engine and it made less power then the performer the rpm and the offy intakes and the only thing that was changed was the intakes.

I agree with one in particular that Pontiacman recommended. The Weiand Air Strike.  (I have one on my 350) At the very least a Weiand Stealth if you don't want the "Air Gap" style.
