Hey there guys, yesterday I aquired a 1969 Impala from a family friend. It has seen better days but the engine and tranny where recently rebuild. Runs great with a 350/350 combo ( I think original engine & tranny ) . Its in really beat up condition but not extremely bad.
I have personally never really looked at impalas the way I see Nova's, Chevelles , Camaros ECT. So my question is, is there a market for these cars ? I'm thinking of just putting on some rally wheels on there right now, full exhaust and slowly work on the body. Even with a sligtly modified engine , would this car be ideal to mod the engine and have it as a nice weekend car/ cruiser ? What I dont like is I cannot find other 69 Impalas that have been modified other than Lowriders or Back to 100% percent stock , and I dont really want either of those, but It would be nice to see other examples to give my self an idea. Thanks.

personally i like the bigger cars...they are certainly harder to make fast but make for nice drivers
- i did love my chevette (first car) more than my first wife my 94 4.3L Astrobrick would outrun the 99 5.4L f350 i had to drive for work
