there are tons of things that could be going wrong....
first thing to check is the adjustment of the Throttle Valve Cable that hooks to the bottom of the throttle lever...
you did not post much information about your car...
like which carb you have...
not all carbs are set up for the 200R4 /700R4 throttle valve cable.....
there is an extension for the bottom of the carb throttle lever to correct the length from center problem that will cause nightmare problems over time with a TV cable transmission..
but why would it matter....
if the length from the center of the shaft is closer... the pull ratio will be different... since the amount of pull changes the line pressures in the transmission... the pressures will be wrong// and the shift points will not match with the throttle angle..

I called Art Carr @ California performance transmission in Huntington Beach he told me it was the governor spring it fell out, Jaime @ CPT had to remove the pan and take 4 bolts off the governor case and install a new spring with a weld on it so it will not fall out of place. All at no charge Thanks for your help any ways !

BRF governor
A common problem that occurs with some 200-4Rs is the governor spring getting shot out of position after a sudden stop of the wheels. This typically occurs after a burnout.
