Headers for 88-95 C/K truck on a 87

Has any one ever installed a set of headers designed for newer 88-95 chevy trucks onto an 87 or earlier? I have a set of Edelbrock 65662 headers (made to directly replace stock manifolds on 88-95's) that I want to Install on my 87, but by eye balling the set up, I cant tell if they will fit, they almost look like they stick out too far. Anyone know what the frame dimentions are for a 88-95 C/K truck?
