It came factory with 275HP. The 3947041 heads are decent heads. How much power are you aiming for and then I could list a combo for you if you want.

i would like anywhere from 350-400. also , because my car is so heavy. I want a ton of torque. This car is most likely around 3000 maybe more lbs. its a 72 impala 4 door sports sedan. I need good acceleration to get up and move in this boat. Daily driver and weekend cruiser.

Do you plan on a complete rebuild.

If you do use one of the sets of heads you listed use the 041 heads they are decent heads. What is your budget like and then I could list a combo of parts for you.

i have the most minimal of budgets. alot of work will be done by me researching and doing things myself. junkyard finds and such. what little money i do have to buy new parts i will. this is something i know will take awhile to get things just right. if i have to save for good parts i will. there is no rush on this project..

Do you know if the valves in the 041 heads are 2.02/1.60 or 1.94/1.50.

Yes use a measuring tape and measure the valves be sure to measure across the center of the valve if it is under 2 inches then they are 1.94 and if they are 2 inches then they are 2.02 valves.

when u say across the center do you mean width wise from the ports that are side by side or just one port at a time ? maybe if you have an illustration or can direct me to one to get the measurements right.
