Hey ive got a full size 87 blazer with the TBI 350 and the service engine soon light just came on. it runs fine but every once in a while it studders. Any ideas on why the light is on? main reasons why it turns on? what trigger it? thanks alot!

you have to read up on reading codes....
finding out the code will point you in a direction of the circuit or sensor that is having a problem... just because the code is named after a sensor... there are trouble shooting charts for each code...
so if an oxygen sensor code pops up... it could be several other things.. and the oxygen sensor will be just fine...
autozone.com has some free repair info...

don't worry that its for a corvette... the system is almost identical...
