Hellow I am new to this site and could use some help. The project I am currently working on is a 1963 Belair Wagon 9 passanger. I got the car with no motor trans or rear end. Built a 350 for it, got rid of a power glide for a muncie 4 speed. Had one heck of a time finding a stock rear end for it so gave up on goin stock. Yesterday i came accross a Ford 9 inch with disk brakes for 25 bucks and some racing buckets i had, couldn't pass it up. Brought it home and now am getting ready to retro fit it with controll arms and coils so it will mount up to the stock location on my belair frame. Any one done this before? Have a link to a site for help? I have done 4 links on jeeps before but never a car. ANY advice would be AWSOM!!!
Thanks much

it has been done....
what is the width of the 9 inch you got... can you post the 2 lines of numbers off the tag???
under your wagon... do you have 2 upper control arms .. or just one on the right.????
one more thing... did you check the Vin numbers on that body.. make sure that it's not stolen... not just the number on the door tag... there are others stamped in around the body... make sure they match the pink slip... you can get "title only" in a few states... just to make sure that you own it.. before spending a ton of money.. there have been just too many early chevys stolen and sold with phony paperwork...
