ok i have an 82 cutlass with a 68 chevy camaro 350...I put new edelbrock torker 2 intake and edelbrock 1407 750 carb on it, got it timed and it ran perfect for about 2 wks. then all of a sudden one day I was driving and it seemed to bog when i gave it gas and sound like it was ready to die when turning a corner...i quit driving it to inspect the problem....a week later it seemed to miss a little...when i hit the gas it seemed to flutter off and on when accelerating.......COULD THIS BE MY TIMING? WHAT DO I DO? THANKS

fuel pressure? floats sticking? fuel filter? Not likely timing unless the holddown is loose, sounds like a fuel issue. you can pull the top off of the carb without pullin it off of the engine.

I agree with chevelle83. check fuel pressure, change the filter if it has been in there for any length of time, and then if that aint it... crawl up there look down the carb and hit the throttle.(engine OFF) look to see if the accelerator pump is working.

pull out one of you plugs to see what color the porslin is, if its white to lean, if its black to rich. You want it to be about a light brown to a to an amber color. It might be running rich and slow fowling out the plugs. Your prpesure might be to high. but I also agree that its a fuel problem not timing.
