I have this fuel problem that I just can't figure out and need some help.
I have a chevy 383 motor and on top is a 750 demon carb. Feeding it is a Mallory Comp Pump Series 140 pump with a fram canister filter behind it, -6 braided line and a matching mallory regulator. The problem that I'm having is a fuel pressure loss. When everything is cool the presure is at 6psi after I take it for a drive the pressure drops to 2.5 to 3 psi and it feels like there is bubbles flowing through the lines.

I have already did the mod on the pump and did away with the bypass in the pump now that its on a regulator with a bypass.

getting fed up with chaceing this fuel problem any help will be nice. Thanks

where are you pulling the fuel from....

through the stock pickup that has an electric fuel pump on it??? with a strainer on the end of that....

what happens when you free flow the electric fuel pump????  does it put out a lot of flow????

The fuel tank was moded to work just like a fuel cell. Has no pickup just a sump, a return, a vent, and a float. The tank is baffled as well.
When it free flows before I drive it its fine. After driving for a while and the pressure drops there appears to be bubbles on the pressure side.

some help would be cool.
