I need some heads for my 383stroker, i found a pair of 601 casting heads with 1.94/1.50 valves 53cc. i didnt know if this would be ok, it will be my daily driver, just looking for something fun to drive around. not sure on the size of the cam yet

thoughs should work. 53cc is small, you sould get a good pop out of them. With a little port work they will come alive. If the runners look narrow and tight I recomend to open them up some. 383s need to breath good to help from overheatting. good luck and have fun.

Ya they should work ok but would work better with a good port job. are you sure about the valve size because they came from the factory with 1.84 intake valves. If your 383 has flattop pistons you will need to run race fuel to prevent detonation.
