i got this 350 and when i checked the cast # on mortec is says zz4. what does this mean.

could be a GM ZZ4 creat motor.
What are the cast numbers?

Ya it is a gm crate 350 engine and has a one piece rear main seal and it came with a forged crank and pm rods.

Ya most likely other then it coming with a forged crank and roller cam it is nothing real special.

COOL, THANKS GUYS. HEY BESIDES A NEW FLYWHEEL. DO YOU KNOW WHAT ALL I WILL NEED TO MATE THIS VORTEC WITH A TURBO 350. IM TRYING TO MAKE THIS EASY AS POSSIBLE

If going with a carb. then all you should need is the proper flex plate and proper balancer and brackets.
