I recently acquired my first project car - a 1974 Nova. It has a couple rust spots and is currently on its 2nd coat of paint with the clear coat having substantial UV damage. It is currently red with black stripes. I plan on having the paint removed down to the metal allowing for a fresh coat.
I am thinking Silver with Black stripes, Green with white stripes, or back to a Red with Black Stripes.
Let me know what your suggestions are.

How about a metallic blue with silver stripes

black with gold stripes...
i just saw a one of the small import cars.. i really don't know what it was...
the owner had covered it with bright pink metal flake sticky label tape..
it was so loud a color that several people including me took cell phone camera pictures of it...

how about the factory beer-puke-yellow with factory moon caps...big motor...sleeper
but seriously, factory shade blue with white stripes would look great
gather pictures of your model year with the paint jobs you're considering and see what you like...ultimately it is your car...you have to be happy with it
- i did love my chevette (first car) more than my first wife my 94 4.3L Astrobrick would outrun the 99 5.4L f350 i had to drive for work
