yes... there are other ways to loose coolant...
intake manifold gaskets go bad.... heater cores leak, heater hoses leak, the water pumps on these do go bad... not often.. but they do stock them at most parts stores.. radiators go bad.. upper and lower hoses go bad...
the biggest cause lately is the radiator cap... i have run into a bunch of them... that the center button in the middle of the rubber seal is not spring loaded tight against the rubber... some are specified that way ... but i have found... that they don't always allow the cooling system pressure to build up to the proper amount..
get the cooling system pressure tested... pressure testers are available at some of the chain stores in the loan a tool section... warning... do not pressurize it over 7 psi... if it does not leak at 7 psi... it won't leak at the higher pressure... going above that with a radiator pressure tester ... can only damage things.. i have found out in 30 years of fixing cars...

on ls1 engines, the coolant doesn't flow trough the intake. so intake gaskets are out of the question. the radiator cap is also out, 2002 f-body coolant systems are high preasure systems. the cap and over flow are part of whats now called a surge tank.
replace your thermostat if you haven't done that already. check your fans make sure they work. check and or replace the coolant temp switch. Its something simple. If your leaking water then you will see it on the ground. heater core leak you will find on your carpet and smell it. leaking hoses and water pump are prety obvious. and a preasure tester can tell you if there is a blown head gasket. But check the vitals first. thermostat, fans, switch. Do a coolant flush as well. good luck

Stock fan settings are stupid high, you can smell coolant on a stocker every time you shut it down. Get your fans programmed to support the thermostat temp and you will not have evaporative losses from the puke-tank.
