I am curious about the rear quarter panels from the 68 nova in the EXHAUSTIVE RESEARCH article. I have search far and wide for quarters like those, who makes them and where can i find some? Thanks!

Alaska4x4,
Oh, I have the answer, but it's gonna cost you...one million American dollars...just kidding!
Just to give you a bit of history, I bought the car back in '96 at the ripe age of 16, and the flares were already on the car. Make a long story short, after a guy decided to broadside the car a few years later, we found out exactly how the flares were put on. The quarters are stock '68 quarters that had the original wheel wells opened up, i.e. enlarged by cutting out the stock lip and such. The flares themselves came off of an AMC Javelin. I forgot the model year, but it was the one with the hideous front fenders with the huge flares. Looked bad there, but looks neat on the Nova...go figure! Long and short of it, the flares came off of that car, and were fiberglassed and molded to the stock quarterpanels. I haven't found any quarterpanels like that at all on the market, so it is something you are going to have to one-off yourself. It took a ton of time repairing the driver side fender flare when the car was hit, but regardless of what people have said or didn't say about them, I thought they were cool and kept them. VGives the car a vintage 1970s drag race look to it.
I hope that answers your question. If you have anymore, feel free to hit me up at TBR151@aol.com.
Thanks for reading the article, and I hope you liked it!
