how do i get my dads car in a centerfold?

ok. my old man bought a '67 chevelle in the fall of '96. it had a body on resto 3 years prior. it took first place at chicago's chevy vette fest right when it was completed. my dad then bought the car with its prize winning trophie along with many others from other local car shows. 10 years later, the chevelle took first place again at the same McCormic place car show. in between the years, the car gathered a few more local dash plaques and smaller take home trophies. usually it was a show stopper and many many people took pictures and asked many questions. its nice to get the attention. thats the whole point of having a show car, right?

as of now(5-'09), my father and i have almost completed its full frame off resoration. i mean its almost completely finished. it runs and drives. some of the smaller stuff needs to be completed, like organize some wires and go through all the lines and just basically work out the bugs. align body lines and clean everything all over again. simple stuff.

the car cannot enter a class of 'best original'. it is defenatly 'custom modified'. the n/a big block is puttin out more power than its original 396c.i. ever could. its measured to a 413c.i. the trans was a manual 4 speed but is now a beefed up TH400. the 12 bolt never gave us any problems but now its a Strange Engineering 9" specifically built for out chassis. everything on the car has been replaced and upgraded one way or another. you name it, its better now. even the dash assembely is custom ordered and modified for a new unique look. phantom gauges, LED and fiber opticts for dash lights and indicators. tie rod ends, sway bars, rear suspension, everything has been gone through.

if i had a video/photographer come to our house, he/she would not in any way think he was waisting their time. what do i need to do? in my opinion, if the guy with the weird mustache from my classic car, (dennis gage) wouldnt be dissapointed. i need to know what i need to do to get my foot in the door. my father put mabey 30 grand into a car that was already worth 30 grand.

mabey some of this isint worded right or it doesnt make any sence. all i know is my father and i have put our share of blood sweat and tears into it. the car is bad ass and everyone i know that has seen it has agreed. i need to know what i need to do in order to get my fathers car into a magazine of some sort. it would really just complete his peace of mind. thats all i want to do. we have plenty of pictures from before we bought the car, pics of our modifications and alterations while we owned the car, pictures of our process of restoration, and even pictures up untill today. some are on my phone. some are on photobucket. some pictures are in 'my pictures' on my personal computer. alot of pictures that were taken with a disposable. but everything was documented and its possible to prove everything that iv said. please, by all means, dont think im trying to brag. i just want someone to know we mean business and its defenatly as clean and beautiful as i say.
