I am trying to decide between the two.I want something pretty reliable and something that will blow anything off the road. Can you guys give me some of the pros or cons about either setup. I am going to run a turbo 400 with it and either 3.73 or 4.56 gearing. thank you.

Just get ready for pretty bad mileage first off.
I'd go with the Ram Jet 502.

I'm not so sure (about the mileage I mean).
If you put a Gear Vendors overdrive on there,...well it won't be a Cobalt ( ), but it wouldn't be that much different than a pickup (my weapon of choice) and STILL blow anything off the road.
Now, considering I would be spending your money (always easy ) I would go with the 502 for the extra power AND the fact that it is fuel injected.
But, that assumes the 454 isn't fuel injected (meaning I don't know how old of a 454 your getting).
