chevy II nova 1963

I am looking to upgrade the rear suspension so I can use a larger tire such as a 10" tire what are some good ideas on this that can point me in the right direction  

there are several articles on narrowing the rear suspension on these... offset shackles..   moving the frame rails... widening the tubs... don't forget that car has been around for 45 years and hot rodded thousands of times...  you just missed the articles...

do you subscribe to many of the magazines.???/   gone through your back issues????

tell you the truth you can fit a 29x 10.5 in the wheel well but you will have to move your leaf springs in 2" you will also have to notch the rear frame to clear the tire and use a 15 x 8 rim with the right back space if you want here is a web site that is strictly novas its www.novas.net very good info in there or stevesnovasite.com i have a 63 nova but im running the heidts 4 link and am very pleased with it so far im only running 235/60/15 mt drag radials so i have plenty of room for more tire hope this helps  

i have a 70 nova and im finding out that the nova weel wells suck my dad has a 67 camaro and he has no problem i think he has 12 inch wide tires with out modifing his rear end and i have to do a mini tub or serious body work just to have 9 inch wide tires but you have a good car for building so good luck  

the 70 nova wheel well although small has enough room to fit a 275/60/15 mt drag radial you just need to have the right rim back space i beleive its a 15 x 8 with a 5" b.s. will fit with this tire with no issues  

thats what my car has on it 15x8 i just added shackles and im going for a 17x8 but i might have to make my weel wells taller on the inside
