tranny problems in my Chevy Silverado 2000 2500

Hey I have a 2000 2500 silverado with the 6.0 4x4. Im not sure exactly wat the trans model is, but wat the problem is its not going into lock up anymore. A year ago I was going around 45-50 mph and the kid in the front decided to get something from the back sit. well wen he did he hit my shifter into reverse and all i heard were the tires screeching it maybe stayed there for 2 seconds b4 i threw it into N. amazingly never had any problems with it after that. Until bout 3 months ago now it will not go into lock up over 40 mph. I have no problems with it going from 1,2,3, n overdrive and it will go into lockup at a slow speed but at high speeds it will not. any ideas??

i just answered your other post with a question... about the check engine light on....
which codes does it have???/ the computer will not let it shift into overdrive or lock the converter with some codes to prevent damage...
