I HAVE A 305 THAT SUPPOSE TO HAVE A RV CAM IN IT. WOULD THE TIMING STILL BE AT 8 DEGRESS BTC OR LESS..

I would set the timing around 10-12 degrees.

OK..SEE I HAD IT AT 8 AND AT 12 DEGREES AND 12 SEEMS TO RUN SO MUCH BETTER..I ALSO INSTALLED A MSD 6ANL BOX FOR BETTER FIRE. DO YOU THINK I SHOULD ADVANCE AND MORE OR LEAVE IT AT 12BTC..THANKS FOR INFO..

Keep turning it up until it pings then back it down a little then thats all in can handle.

WILL A ENGINE RUN IF THE TIMING IS SET AT TDC ON THE EXHAUST STROKE..
