Would like to see in super chevy or camaro performers.............

Real Father/Son or Father/daughter projects....hello are there more folks out there like me? Our kids are the future of our hobbie/passion.

I sometime feel as if I am the only one working on "old School" cars with my two sons. My coworkers cannot relate as they buy small imports for their kids,  (which teach them nothing and will not provide an experience to remember like what I am sharing with my kids)  Also real life issues like how to insure my sons 69 camaro/79 corvette without breaking the bank. Also techniques on preventing theft as my sons cars will be driven on the street daily.

Love super chevy and camaro performers, hey I am available if you need space to fill up a page in either mag.  

In the most recent issue of Super Chevy Magazine (June '08) I wrote a feature concerning Tom and Jason Intravaia and their stunning 1979 Z28 Camaro. They built the car as a father/son project and really had a great story behind the purchase of the car. It's always nice to follow stories such as that one because it gives you that warm, gooey, American feeling deep down inside. Make sure to check that one out.  

Hey Mike, I've got one of those father/son projects in my garage right now!! We are documenting it with tons of photos throughout the process. The goal is to have it done in time for Super Chevy @ Maple Grove. Let me know if you want some details.  

HI, I AM NEW TO THE CAR STUFF. I STARTED RESTORING A 89 CAMARO FOR MY SONS FIRST CAR AS THIS WAS THE YEAR HE WAS BORN. NEEDLESS TO SAY MY SON IS NOW 19 AND STILL WORKING ON CAR BUT GETTING CLOSE, THE ENGINE AND TRANS ALL REBUILT AND RUNNING BODY BACK TOGETHER THIS WEEK AND THEN WE START THE INTERIOR. SINCE THEN WE BOUGHT A 99 FOR HIS DAILEY DRIVER AND ALSO MOST RECENTLY JUST PURCHASED THE ACTUAL 1988 CAMARO SILVER STREAK BUILT BY SUPER CHEVY AS A GIVE AWAY. NOW MY DAUGHTER WANTS A CAMARO SO WE WILL START ANOTHER ONE. I FIND IT VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND PARTS FOR THE 3 GEN.   JOHN S.  

i would love to see more G-BODY monte carlo ss or malibu there is alot of bad G-BODY out there that we would love to see  

I like the junkyard-type mods.  ie. how to convert a certain body style car to disk brakes from another, or even disk upgrades.  which modern aluminum drive shaft will fit ??  wiring a 7004 for 4th gear lock up only, low-moderate budget stuff.  the upgrades we all think we need.
