Debating on building a 350 four bolt main motor with a Weiland 142 C.I.D kit WND 6510-1 polished long nose. I have a camaro with a cowl induction hood and want something that I do not have to cutt into the hood. I don't know if there is another style supercharger by Weiland that will fit under the hood without chopping a hole. I plan on boring the motor over .030. Now, I need some advice on what kind of pistons and rod's do I need along with what cc heads. What heads are best for this? I just know I need to drop the compression down to around 8-1. Once I get that figured out then I will need to see what kind of cam I can use. I want to get something with a little over being choppy, but able to run this on the street. I have a set of new world small block torquer chevy heads with the 2.02/160 valves. Just not sure if I can use these with the combination or not. Any help would be appreaciated. Thanks

Just another question on the re-build. Can I use the stock rods or should I replace them? thanks.

How much boost are you going to run and what size combustion chambers do the world heads have or just list the part number of the heads.

Thanks, What I have is a 350 punched out 30 over. The heads that I have are world heads SB S/R torquer. 76 cc with 170 cc intake ports. part # 955-042670-1 (Jegs) . The super charger I am looking at is a Weland WND6513-1 with a Holly 0-80573S 750 cfm Holley model 4150 supercharger carb. I wanted to stick with the heads that I have since they are new. I just need to find a configuration on the pistons that will match the 76cc heads. I was told that I should not go above 8-1 compression. I was also checking on parts to make it a 383. I have found external balanced cranks and then Jegs has a kit with the balanced crank. Not sure what to do on that. Also, will I have to get different rods instead of using the stock one's. I need some help on what pistons and other parts are needed to make it a well balanced running motor. I appreaciate your help. thanks a bunch.

You will need forged dish top pistons with at least a.083 dish and recomend eagle forged rods for the cam I would use a lunati streetmaster cam kit P#07102LK. also you can run more then 8:1CR.If you need a part number let me know and I will see if I can find one

Thanks a bunch. If you could find a part number would give me an idea of what I am looking for. What about a crank? I have found Jegs with cranks and then summit. Is it best to go with an external or in-ternal balance crank. I just want to make sure I do things right and not do something that will cause it to detonate. I appreaciate the info.

You'll need forged crank and rods aswell. I've seen a 350 make about 1000hp with a 671 in a jetboat unless you have a heavy car I don't think you will need to stroke it just get like a eagle forged rotating assembly or whatever just forged.
well he said 1000 but probably more like 600-800?
