My wife has a 1970 Malibu Convertible in pretty good condition that has been sitting in the garage for, maybe, ten years.  She bought the car brand new.  Had new 350 motor and cosmetics done about 5 years ago.  I would like to know the value and if anyone would be interested in buying it.  Thank you

It's a '70 convertible in good shape, you should have no problems finding someone to buy it, even in today's economy. How much is a different story.

Because of the way the economy is, putting a value on the car (that doesn't include the obvious sentimental value) is tough. Because it's been sitting for so long, the car would need some work to be road worthy again.

Unless you're strapped for cash and need to move the car, my suggestion would be to clean it up, getting it road worthy, and enjoy it until the economy gets better and you'll get what you really want for it.
