I HAVE A 1963 NOVA V6 250 STRAIGHT. I NEED TO KNOW THE STARTING ORDER. I NEED WHERE THE SPARK PLUGS WIRES NEED TO GO ON THE DISTUBRTOR CAP GOES ON. SOMEONE TOOK THEM OFF AS A JOKE (NOT FUNNY) NEED STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS,, PLEAASEE HELP ME, PLEEASSE

153624... pull the number one plug out... bump the engine over till you get pressure out of that hole.. watch the rotor spin so that you can judge where number one is...
or move the crank till it lines up with the mark... start at the terminal that lines up with the rotor tip.. if it does not run... move the number one wire straight across the cap.. and start the rest around after that.....
the balancer mark is only up when the mark is at the number one and number six pistons are up... so you have a 50 50 possibility.. takes about a minute to change them...
which ever way the rotor points when the timing mark is lined up... is the #1 or #6 ...
and don't move the wires all across.. they have to be moved around.. to follow the number 1...
